Wood Carver Bio - Pat Moore

Pat Moore from Kindred, North Dakota has been painting and sculpting since her early childhood.  After college she became involved in woodcarving, teaching her technique since the early 80’s. She is both a gifted carver and painter and is especially known for her miniature realistic wildlife pieces.

Several local, regional and international publications have featured her in their magazines. “Wood Carving Illustrated” spring 2006 and “Chip Chats” winter 2009 both have done articles.  In 2007, Pat was filmed for HGTV’s “That’s Clever” TV program demonstrating carving a Miniature Flying Mallard. 

As a teacher, she enjoys sharing her woodcarving and painting techniques, both in adult educations programs and nationally known seminars throughout the country.
